peptideprivatelabel is an independent literature digest covering three peptides studied in tissue repair — BPC-157, GHK-Cu and TB-500 — read specifically against the nerve and neural-tissue repair claims made for them.
It is a reading desk and nothing else. It does not manufacture, formulate, label, package, test or sell anything, it holds no relationship with any supplier of these compounds, and it has no product to recommend. The domain name is a domain name; the content is a citation-checked summary of published research.
Every factual claim on this site traces to one of the seventeen sources on the references page, each identified by author, journal and year. Where a claim cannot be traced to one of them, it is either labelled as community anecdote or stated as an absence in the record.
Why the site is organised around distance from the nerve
Most writing about these three compounds treats the tissue-repair literature as one undifferentiated pool: a rat tendon result, a human skin trial and a rodent stroke study get cited in the same paragraph in support of the same conclusion.
This site refuses that move, because the conclusion people are usually reaching for — that these peptides repair nerves in people — is not what any of those studies measured. So instead of organising by mechanism or by popularity, the pages here are organised by how many substitutions separate a given study from a human nerve: species, molecule, tissue, and route or compartment.
It is a deliberately unflattering frame, and it produces an unflattering result. Not one of the seventeen sources indexed here reports a peripheral nerve regenerating, in any species. The closest is a rat stroke experiment using the full-length parent protein rather than the fragment sold as TB-500 [14].
Stating that plainly is the whole editorial position. A reader who arrives believing the nerve case is settled should leave knowing exactly which studies exist and what each one measured.
How a claim gets graded here
Four working rules, applied on every page.
Species and molecule stay attached. A result in rats is written as a result in rats, including in headings and summaries, where qualifiers usually get dropped. Where a study used full-length thymosin beta-4 rather than the seven-amino-acid fragment, that is marked every time [14][16].
Quantities carry a citation. Every percentage, sample size, dose used in a study, half-life and effect size on this site points to a numbered source. A figure with no source attached does not get published here.
Anecdote is quarantined and labelled. Community reports appear only in a clearly marked subsection on each compound page, are labelled as anecdotal, are never given a human dose, and are never allowed to substitute for a study. Where an anecdotal pattern has an obvious alternative explanation — better sleep because something hurts less, for instance — the alternative is stated alongside it.
Absences are reported. Where the literature has not measured something, that gap is named rather than filled with plausible mechanism. This is why phrases like "no study in this index reports" appear as often as they do.
What this desk will not do
It will not recommend a dose, a schedule, a route or a protocol for any person, for any compound, for any purpose. Doses appear on this site only as descriptions of what was administered in a cited study, in the species that study used.
It will not tell anyone where to obtain these compounds, will not evaluate suppliers, and will not link to sellers. Two of the three are distributed through unregulated channels where identity and purity are unverified outside formal studies, and a page that points people toward those channels while calling itself a research digest is not a research digest.
It will not offer medical advice or substitute for a clinician. Nothing here is diagnosis, treatment or a recommendation to use anything.
And it will not smooth over the gaps to make the reading more satisfying. The most useful thing this desk can report about nerve repair and these three peptides is precisely how little has been measured — and that finding is not improved by being softened.
